If you are in town, I’d love it if you could come and show your support!

Indianapolis International Film Festival

I am so excited to announce that Seasons of Love has been accepted to the
7th Annual Indianapolis International Film Festival! This will be the film’s Midwest premiere.

It will screen twice as a part of the Indy Film Fest’s shorts program, Love Bites. The first screening is on Saturday, July 17 at 1pm and the second on Monday, July 19 at 5:15pm.

“Are they the little nips you get from an affectionate partner?  Or is it the perpetual state of an emotion that’s never any good? The answer in these nine films is yes. From a conversation lost in translation to the lengths we’ll go to for the one we love, you’ll enjoy a few great films — and so will your heart.” (Love Bites program description courtesy of

I’m desperately trying to attend the festival. Hopefully my work lets me miss a day or two… but we’ll see. Anyone want to come with me? Seriously.

Seasons of Love is a Finalist for the Fusion Film Festival!

Update: The Student Competition Screening and Awards Ceremony were postponed due to extreme weather conditions in New York. The event has been rescheduled for Friday, March 5 at 7pm at the Cantor Film Center (36 E 8th St, NYC).

I’m thrilled to announce that Seasons of Love is an Undergraduate Finalist for NYU’s 7th Annual Fusion Film Festival! Some of you may know that I have a very special relationship with Fusion, and I am just so excited that my film has been selected. Even more so, 2 animated films made it this year–mine and Bethany Heimbigner’s Sucker.

Both films will screen as a part of the Student Film Competition on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 7pm at the Cantor Film Center (36 East 8th Street, NYC). An award ceremony for the Film, Screenplay, and Music Video categories will follow the screening. The event is free and open to the public.
